| Tequila Sunrise |
The Tequila Sunrise is a cocktail made
of tequila, orange juice,
and grenadine and served unmixed in a tall
glass . The modern drink originates from California in the early 1970s, after
an earlier one created in the 1930s in Arizona. The cocktail is named for its
appearance when served, with gradations of color resembling a sunrise.
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 oz. Tequila
1⁄2 oz. Grenadine
Orange Juice
Procedure:
Pour Grenadine into a tall glass first.
Then add Tequila and fill with ice and Orange Juice.
Garnish with an Orange Slice.
